My office in La Mesa is filled with plants and surrounded by greenery.  It offers a charming, calming, and safe environment.  My office reflects my deepest values.  I believe that a relationship, just like a garden, thrives when it is properly nurtured.  Therefore, the two A’s of A & A Couples Counseling, representing Acknowledge and Appreciate, are essential nutrients in fostering a strong and enduring relationship.

 After receiving my license, I took advanced training in psychotherapy from the Psychoanalytic Institute in La Jolla and was supervised by a specialist in couples therapy.  For six years, I worked with Active Duty military and their spouses, gaining invaluable experience in working with hundreds of couples.  It was during this time that I developed an expertise in applying my training to identify underlying issues quickly and accurately.
